New Prime Savers Account

We're encouraging our youth to start saving at an early age. In doing so, we've kicked off our new Prime Savers account in honor of National Credit Union Youth month. Every year, April serves as a time to encourage kids to develop healthy saving habits by making savings fun and exciting. Our goal is to engage with our young members and show them that Riverview Credit Union is here to help them throughout their financial journey.
Our Prime Savers Account will allow our youth to:
- Sign up if they are ages 0 to 18
- Earn a competitive dividend
- Get 5.00% APY on balances up to $1,000
- Get 5.00% to 3.21% APY on balances between $1,000 and $2,500 depending on balance in account
- Get 3.21% to 0.50% APY on balances over $2,500 depending on balance in account
- Make a $5 minimum deposit required to open (Riverview will deposit $5 into the account when opened)
- Receive a FREE gift at account opening
- Pay NO monthly service fee
- Learn the importance and know-how of saving money from an early age
- Receive ONE FREE withdrawal per quarter; $25.00 fee for each additional withdrawal
- Receive FREE digital banking services
- Have Access to Shared branching
- Have Access to Direct deposit
- Have their Funds insured by the NCUA
