Nelson Celebrates 10 Years with Riverview

Riverview associate, Laura Nelson, recently celebrated her 10-year anniversary with the financial institution.
Nelson serves as Riverview’s Chief Operating Officer, a position she has held since January 2019. In this role, she is directly responsible for the administration and supervision of the credit union operations, including management of branch operations. Nelson also serves as Riverview’s Bank Secrecy Act Officer.
“Laura is a key member of Riverview’s senior management team and contributor to our growth and expansion in recent year,” said Doug Ankrom, Riverview’s President and CEO. “She has been instrumental in developing a strong member services team. At the same time, her knowledge of banking operations has enabled us to maximize efficiency and improve work quality, which supports our ability to provide consistent quality service to members.”
Nelson joined Riverview in 2011 as a Member Service Representative, a position she held until 2014 when she was promoted to Branch Operations Manager. Prior to joining Riverview, Nelson was employed by two community banks, where she held various customer service positions including teller and loan processor.
Nelson resides in Saint Marys, West Virginia, with her husband, Mike.
